It is also one of the largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service providers in terms of capacity. Hong Kong Baptist University has been the first tertiary education institution to establish a low-carbon campus since 2009. The University has taken on the social responsibility in outreaching and partnering with a wider community to reduce carbon emissions.

The Low-carbon working team, under the Estates Office, commit themselves in the low-carbon initiatives of the University, which aims at reducing our carbon footprint through enhancing sustainability culture; strengthening energy conservation; increasing green purchasing; expanding wider network for promotion; making concerted efforts and promoting our achievement in a collaborative manner.
